Christmas decor

My mother-in-law sent us some really cute Christmas decoration, it went so well with the little snow man I had already bought! she also got us a few hand towels and door mat and coupled of tree ornaments! it was great to have a little more Christmas decor added to our home.

Christmas caroling

Monday night, we had family night with a bunch of families in the ward and it was SO much fun! we all brought 2 dozen cookies (I brought chocolate covered pretzel sticks, and they were delicious). We split up the treats, put a few on each plate, bundled up, and took them out Christmas Caroling! I love singing Christmas songs it brings the spirt so quickly and brings joy to everyone around!!! 

After Caroling, we went back to the Robbins and had the left over cookies and Hot Cocoa! It was a perfect evening spending time with friends. 

Holidays

We drank Hot cocoa out of mugs I made and watched Christmas vacation! love snuggling up with Johnny under a warm blanket and watching a movie. I really love spending this Christmas Holiday with him! I love him so much. 

Christmas!

Here is our very first Christmas tree! We were so excited to finally go and pick it out after Thanksgiving. Tonight we plan on making some delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows and watching a Christmas movie. We actually tried watching a Christmas Carol made by disney last night, but it was made really weird and didn't really have any Christmas feel to it so we turned it off!   

MOVING!

last weekend, after living in our apartment for not even a whole month we have decided to move! and we are doing it tomorrow! I don't think I have ever been so excited to move before, we both are! last weekend a lady named Stacy texted us, she is the owner of a basement apt we looked at a month ago, she wanted to see if we had found a place yet because hers was opening back up. See, we had chosen her place to live in, it was the perfect place for us, it was brand new apartment only a couple years old and it was pretty large, we were so excited BUT before we were about to move it all fell through and we were devastated. the tents that had been living there were buying a home and their loan officer was fired and they weren't going to be moving out after all for several months. so the next morning after getting that news we decided to get the first place we looked at. its nice and big and very old! we had bought a couch, a nice big sectional one, and when we tried to move it in, we couldn't get it threw the door! So its been sitting up stairs in our current landlords house. Now we are very excited we will be able to fit in to our new place! we are so thankful that every thing is working out perfectly. That everything that seamed to go wrong at first is fall right into place now!

So here is our new place, its two bedroom, one bathroom (bigger), has about double the kitchen space as we do now, many more electrical plugs than we do, more closet space, cable, and internet.

Engaged!

Some times I still cant believe it actually happened! John proposed April 16th. first of all he brought me breakfast in the morning; german pancakes, with strawberries, whipped cream, maple syrup, and powder sugar. after that he didn't stay long, so i went to the gym and got a good long work out in and then got all cute for the day. now here is the good part... he pick me up and told me i look beautiful, he took me to rock canyon park (this is where john first decided he wanted to start dating me).anotherside note, to explain the story, i made john a journal for valentines day, with pictures, ticket stubs, journal entries, and other little notes all in it but i left a few pages in it at the end black and said it wasn't the end of our story. anyways, back to the story, when we got to the park he pulled it out of the back seat and said he had added a few extra pages. we went and sat in the grass and we were just talking for a little bit, and then he asked if i wanted to see those pages. i of course said yes! the first couple of pages were just some dates we had been on since i gave it to him, and then the last page talked about how much he loved me and all that good stuff that made me cry! but the very last line said he had one more question first. i flipped the page and there was an envelope glued to that page, so i opened it up and there was a ribbon, sooo i pulled that out, and on then end was a RING! john got on one knee and asked me to merry him! and we all know what i said!
